Hgv Class 1 Driver
Job Description
We are a small family firm looking for a HGV Class 1 Driver required for General Haulage work UK Mainland. Must be prepared to work a minimum of 2 nights away per week and be flexible during peak times.
Candidates must be punctual and professional and work to a high standard with good communication skills.
A flexible approach is required with early starts and/or late finishes.
Job is on the whole, Monday to Friday averaging around 50 to 55 hours per week but again, more may be required on occasion but always within regulation Drivers' hours.
Experience of securing all types of loads is an important issue for us although training can be given if required.
Drivers may also be required to work Tail Lifts (Training available) and must be willing to assist with load/unload if required.
No newly qualified applicants please as our insurance requires minimum 1 years driving experience.
Candidates with some experience are preferred.
