Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled Class 1 Day Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting palletised freight across various locations in a timely and safe manner. Performing multiple trailer swaps during the day around the East Midlands to and from Bardon LE67 1TX and or to our central hub, Burton DE14 1SY.

Monday to Friday with rotated weekend work. - 47.5 - 55 hours per week based on busy periods of activity.

Responsibilities:-

Drive curtain sided lorries to transport goods and materials- Ensure safe loading, unloading, and securement of pallets- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times- Perform pre usage vehicle inspections- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance- Communicate effectively with offices, customers, and colleagues

Experience:-

Proven experience as a commercial driver- Valid Class C driving licence with a clean driving record- - Familiarity with delivery routes and navigation systems
