Job Description

Oxford Logistic Limited looking for HGV Driver Class 1,with 1 years of experience ,based at Didcot over the weekend .To pick up and deliver shipping containers .Operating out of Southampton Port ;therefore,nights out required.Allowance paid .

Responsibilities;

Secure shipping containers ,experience with a splitter desirable Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated locations Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance as needed Communicate with dispatch to receive instructions and updates on delivery routes Maintain accurate records of deliveries ,mileage ,and fuel usage Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and transportation guidelines

Qualifications

Valid commercial driving licence (C+E) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a truck driver Ability to drive various types of trucks,including container Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo Good communication skills to interact with customers ,dispatch ,and other team members

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 15.00-16.00 per hour
