Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to manage various driving tasks, including flatbed operations.

Responsibilities

Operate and drive lorries to deliver goods to designated locations in a safe and timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items, particularly for TIPPER deliveries. Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence (C licence or equivalent) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles, preferably with tipper experience. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items and securing loads properly. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with customers and colleagues.

Pay: 32,000.00-45,000.00 per year
