Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with bulk blowers , and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of service. The job will involve the collection and delivery of animal feed and grains throughout the North. We are based in the Cookstown area. We have a one driver one lorry policy. With Bonus scheme avaialble.

Responsibilities

Operate lorries safely and efficiently to transport goods to various locations in the north. Conduct daily walk around inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Loading and unloading of bulk feed and grains. Maintain accurate delivery documentation as required. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, transport manager and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence (C+E) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with bulk blowers. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for driving. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently. Good physical fitness to handle loading and unloading tasks. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
