Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers to utilise their skills in a dynamic environment, contributing to the efficient operation of our supply chain. This is an evening shift position starting @ 17:00 hrs finishing around 0200.

Duties

Operate lorries and other commercial vehicles in compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies Safely load, secure, and unload cargo, ensuring the integrity of goods during transit Plan and follow efficient routes to meet delivery schedules Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including delivery notes and logs Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status and any unforeseen delays Adhere to all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times

Skills

Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably with delivery driver experience Valid driving licence suitable for operating flatbed lorries and other relevant vehicles Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading and securing cargo safely A responsible attitude towards safety, punctuality, and customer service

Pay: 42,000.00-45,000.00 per year
