Overview

Responsibilities

Operate commercial vehicles, including flatbed lorries, in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies Deliver goods to designated locations efficiently and punctually Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and operational standards are met Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transit Assist with loading and unloading cargo as required, utilising warehouse experience when necessary Adhere to all legal requirements related to driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and road safety regulations

Requirements

Valid class 1 driver's licence with a clean driving record Proven experience in commercial driving and delivery roles, preferably with warehouse experience Mechanical knowledge of lorries and related equipment is desirable Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients Experience operating flatbed vehicles is advantageous Ability to work independently and responsibly manage delivery schedules Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks when needed Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to commercial driving

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance

Pay: 180.00-270.00 per day

Expected hours: 50 - 70 per week
