Job Summary
Excellent Opportunity!! We are seeking experienced and skilled HGV Drivers to join our team based out of our Detling base (Maidstone). The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over short or long distances, ensuring safe and timely deliveries.
Shift Pattern
We are looking for a driver to work nights only on 4 on 4 off rotational basis starting at 11am each day. Overtime is always available however this may be in a different vehicle.
Duties
-Operate HGV vehicles whilst adhering to Drivers hours and road laws
- Assist in the loading and unloading at certain customer sites
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns
- Maintain accurate driving logs and POD's
- Follow traffic laws and regulations
Requirements
- Hold a valid Driving Licence, CPC Card and Digital Tacho card
- Proven experience with refrigerated trailers and containers or similar role
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 170.00-250.00 per day
