Class 1 Driver The role will include delivering high valued items to our customers providing a first-class secure service to the banking, government & infrastructure sectors, you will report the Operations Team on a daily basis.

Requirements & Responsibilities:
45 hrs, per week.
Fluent in English.
Working hours 6am-3pm (subject to change as per workload and projects)
CRB Checks and SC Clearance (All Staff)
Pallet and trolley manoeuvring knowledge.
Required to move pallets and trolleys safely.
Ability to use IT such as a handheld computer (PDA)
PDA to be used on all deliveries for capture of POC/POD.
Update manifests as per workload.
Be reliable, flexible, and hard working.
Must have good communication skills.
At least 2 years current experience driving an HGV.
Must hold valid CPC + Digital Tacho Card & clean class 2 license.
A demonstrable understanding of vehicle safety and upkeep.
Accurately complete all relevant paperwork.
Safely check the load/help load at Depot(s) into selected vehicle.
Load and unload pallets in accordance with the Company code of practice and use appropriate equipment.
Maintaining security of load when loading, transporting, and delivering goods.
Carry out daily checks on vehicles.
Ensure all company policies are adhered to at all times.
To drive in a safe and responsible manner (all vehicles are tracked with telematics reporting on driver style) driving style is monitored on a regular basis.
Comply with legislation regarding vehicle safety, tachographs operation and working time.
All accidents/incidents are to be reported to ICL operations immediately.
To comply with the Working Time Directive and Drivers hours regulations as per company policy.
Health and Safety processes to be followed at all times.
Act as an ambassador for the company, providing high standard of customer care and being polite at all times.
An understanding of the importance of customer service is essential, there is a lot of customer contact.
To undertake any reasonable management request.
It is essential that you have a positive approach towards, health, wellbeing, and safety. You should have a "can do" attitude, be a good communicator, flexible and willing to operate out of other sites.
