Job Description
Overview
We are a family run business seeking a skilled HGV Driver to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and safe deliveries. We are looking for a friendly team player that can positively contribute to the wider business.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive lorries to transport goods and materials - either multidrop deliveries or hub runs to a pallet network depot. Occasional shunting where required
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
Requirements
- Hold a valid driving licence for lorries (Category C)
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver
- Ability to drive long distances while adhering to road safety regulations
Salary / Hours
We are accepting applications for day or night drivers. Trampers also welcomed.
Salary is open to negotiation and dependant upon experience, wages are paid monthly
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 38,000.00-45,000.00 per year
