Job Description
Elddis Transport is a well-established and well-respected haulage company based in the North East. We require Class 1 drivers for our Retford based out & back days operations working:
Monday to Friday
4-on, 4-off
Basic hours: 15.22
Overtime after 10 hours: 16.53
Weekend rate: 18.89
Night rate & pre 04:45 rate of 2.13
Paid 4-weekly
Responsibilities
Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently during shifts. Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while adhering to traffic regulations. Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance. Manage loads securely, ensuring proper strapping as needed. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation. Communicate effectively with traffic office and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.
Previous experience prefered.
