Job Description
Operate Class 1 HGV vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Complete delivery paperwork and log sheets accurately.
Adhere to all driving laws, tachograph regulations, and working time directives.
Maintain contact with transport managers to report delays or issues.
Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition.
Requirements:
Valid
HGV Class 1 Licence (Category C+E)
. Up-to-dateCPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
. ValidTachograph/Digital Driver Card
. Minimum 1 years of experience driving Class 1 vehicles (preferred but not required). Strong knowledge of UK road laws and regulations. Good communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 14.00 per hour
