Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with EU trailers, and will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods. This role requires a good understanding how to secure your goods if necessary and a good communication with company! LTD rate: 200 per day! M>F,210 Sunday!

Duties

Picking up trailer from Immingham, delivering and reload back to the dock! The job will include to secure the goods and write paperwork! Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of loads for safe transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, representing the company professionally.

Experience

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role within commercial driving. Familiarity with curtain lorry operations is highly desirable. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record. 1 Year's minimum! Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
