Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid commercial driving licence and have experience in delivering goods all over uk. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various locations, ensuring that all deliveries are completed on time and in compliance with safety regulations.

Duties

Operate a curtain or box trailer to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, securing it appropriately to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policy. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.

Experience

A valid commercial driving licence (C+E) is essential. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred, particularly with amazon relay app. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and responsibility in all tasks. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of safety.
