Class 1 Driver - Droitwich

We are currently recruiting for experienced

HGV Class 1

drivers on an

Permanent

basis to meet the needs of the business at our busy

Droitwich

depot. The role consists of refrigerated Trunking and Multi drop deliveries to stores . The role involves cage deliveries of milk and some locations you are required to use a tail-lift to push and pull products being delivered.



Immediate starts after successful assessment and Induction.

Vacancies

Start Times between 00:30 - 04:30 and 16:00 - 23:00 Various Shift Patterns Avialble, including at least one day over the weekend.

Day pay rates:

Monday - Friday 15.87 (overtime after 47.5hrs 17.85) Saturday 17.85 Sunday and Bank Holidays 23.80

Nights pay rates:

Monday - Friday 18.13 (overtime after 47.5hrs 20.39) Saturday 20.39 Sunday and Bank Holidays 27.19

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

Day to day duties will include the following:

Driving with-in the WTD and EU regs and rules. Prepping vehicles for delivery. Completing vehicles checks. Refueling vehicles. Multi drop deliveries. Interdepot and RDC deliveries. Manual Handling trolleys The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

At least 6 Months of Class one driving experience required. Excellent Communication skills. UK Driving Licence with a Cat C+E entitlement. Digi & CPC Card No more than 6 points for minor offences. Immediate start for successful candidates!
