Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our specialist haulage team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with lowloader or beavertail vehicles, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting plant and access to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the cargo.

Responsibilities

Operate lowloader and beavertail lorries safely and efficiently to transport plant and machinery to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of items to prevent damage during transit. with chains and bind loaders Maintain accurate delivery records and logs as required by company policies. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence (C+E) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with lowloader and beavertail vehicles. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo. Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
