Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations while ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, as well as excellent driving skills, particularly in operating flatbed vehicles.

Responsibilities

Operate flatbed lorries to deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring that all items are properly secured for transport. Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary documentation. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred, with a strong understanding of commercial driving practices. Experience operating flatbed vehicles is highly desirable. A valid commercial driving licence is required, along with a clean driving record. Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps effectively. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring safe transport of goods.
