Location

: Gist Enfield, 158 Brancroft Way, Enfield, EN3 7QP

Salary:

47,680 up to 67,000

Bonus

: Join before 1st December and you could receive up to 1,070 Peak Bonus

Performance related pay:

480 per annum for Band A Microlise driving

Hours:

40 hours per week, 5 days in 7, including rotating weekends and bank holidays

01:00 - 03:00 or 16:00 - 18:00

Overview

As we continue to grow, we are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our dedicated team at Gist, working in partnership with M&S at our Enfield depot. You will be responsible for transporting your favourite M&S products between suppliers, depot and stores in a safe, timely, and professional manner, supporting one of the UK's most recognisable retailers.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with permanent, structured shifts and be part of a supportive team within a leading logistics operation.

Part-time working is also available on Thursdays and Fridays with start times between 16:00 and 18:00.

Key Responsibilities

Safely transport products between depots and retail stores

Carry out regular vehicle safety and compliance checks

Perform light manual handling to unload store deliveries

Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and tachograph legislation

Ensure on-time delivery to M&S locations, maintaining a professional image at all times

Report any vehicle defects, incidents, delays, or health and safety concerns promptly

Work in line with training and Risk Assessments during your duties

Maintain vehicle cleanliness inside and out

Attend training as required to support continuous improvement and compliance

What You Will Bring to the Team

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence with at least 18 months experience

Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card

No more than 6 penalty points (no DD/DR endorsements)

Strong commitment to health & safety standards

Good knowledge of road networks and time management skills

A professional and customer-focused attitude representing Gist and M&S
