Hescott Engineering / AIM Group are looking for an experienced
HGV Class 1 Driver
to join our team, supporting our structural steel fabrication and erection operations.Role Overview:
You will be responsible for transporting structural steel to and from fabrication facilities and construction sites across the UK, ensuring safe, timely, and professional delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Transporting structural steel to and from construction sites Loading and unloading steel (with cranes / site support where applicable) Ensuring loads are secured correctly and safely Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork Adhering to all road safety and site safety regulations
Requirements:
Valid
HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
ValidDriver CPC
andDigital Tachograph Card
Experience transporting steel or abnormal loads preferred Good understanding of construction site procedures Reliable, professional, and safety-focused attitudeWhat We Offer:
