Hgv Class 1 Driver
Job Description
J. Godfrey & Son are looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver. The ideal candidate would be someone who is honest, punctual and well presented. You must be able to work well on your own and be able to manage your time correctly. You would be expected to work Monday to Friday with 4 nights out per week but could also be home occasionally work depending. Optional weekend work available. The vehicle you would be driving is a modern truck equipped with a microwave and fridge, pulling a curtainsider trailer on general haulage duties. We provide full PPE, and uniform. The vehicle would be based out of our depot in Oxfordshire SN7 8NY, we will not out-base the truck. All wages and extra shifts are paid monthly. As well as non taxed nights away @ 25,00 and daily meal allowance @ 10,00. 28 days holidays including Bank Holidays. We don't hassle or bother our drivers, we like to leave you alone to do the job. The successful applicant would be offered a full time contract with a 3 month probationary period. The job starts on the 05/01/26.
