HGV Drivers (Freelance / Temporary)

Everyman Driving Experiences is looking for reliable, professional HGV Drivers to join our transport team on a freelance or temporary basis. You'll play a key part in delivering our supercar and driving events across the UK, from our base at Prestwold Driving Centre, LE12 5SH.

About the Role

Arrive at Prestwold, LE12 5SH and report to the Transport Manager. Vehicles will be pre-loaded and ready for departure at set times. Complete standard HGV checks before leaving (approx. 15 minutes). On arrival at the venue, a return vehicle will be available to drive back to Prestwold. Alternatively, you can remain on-site to assist with the event and return the truck afterwards - hotel accommodation is provided. Opportunities are available to earn extra money by assisting with event set-up, working event days or supporting other operational event roles.

Rates of Pay

Rates vary depending on the venue and whether you return the same day or work on the event:

Local venues such as Donington, Mallory Park, and Curborough - up to 100 for a same-day return trip. Regional venues such as Oulton Park, North Weald, and Dunsfold - up to 160 for a same-day return trip. Distant venues such as Exeter, Bovington, and Lochgelly - up to 225 for a same-day return trip.
If you choose to work the event, a base rate of 100 per event day applies on top of the driving rates.

FOR EXAMPLE:

Truck to Brands Hatch (125), stay overnight, work the event day (100), and return (75) = 300 total over two days. Truck to Exeter (160), work two event days (200 total), and return (100) = 460 total over three days.

Requirements

Valid HGV Class 1 licence with up-to-date CPC Reliable, punctual, and professional approach Comfortable with nationwide travel and overnight stays when required
