HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER - VACANCIES

At AMG Transport, we currently have vacancies for

HGV Class 1

Driver based out of Larkhall

This is a nightshift position tramping from larkhall

Shift pattern is 6 shift 1st week 4 shifts 2 week

We also have a position from Airdrie Tuesday through to Sunday nightshift trunking changeovers 5 nights

These positions are both night shift if can do night shift or overnights & looking for Mon to Fri please don't apply

To become part of the Amg Transport Team, we need our Drivers to have the following:

Current

HGV Class 1 licence

with a maximum of 6 points. Current CPC card. Digital Tachograph driver card. Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns. Good geographical knowledge. A positive, can do attitude. High attention to detail/excellent communication skills. Physically fit (some manual work may be involved).
The position of Class 1 Driver involves:

Occasionally loading and unloading the vehicle. Ensuring goods are safely secured. Completing delivery paperwork. Dealing with customers face to face. Keeping in regular contact with the transport team. Keeping your vehicle in good condition.
Beneficial skills for the role:

Relevant experience in a similar role is desirable. Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers' hours.

Min 2 years experience no new passes
