HGV Class 1 Driver - Cambuslang and Bellshill
We're hiring Multisite HGV Class 1 Drivers
on a temporary ongoing basis to support our busy depots inCambuslang and Bellshill
.This varied role includes
shop deliveries
,trunking to NDCs and RDCs
, andfarm collections
. MMID is part of a globally recognized dairy company, operating amodern, well-maintained fleet
.Immediate starts
are available for successful candidates following completion of anassessment and induction
. After12 weeks of continuous work
, there is potential to move into apermanent contract
.Shifts available:
DAYS start 05am onwards; NIGHTS start 19:00 onwards Any days of the week to work, 2,3,4 or 5 shifts available.
Day pay rates:
Monday - Friday 16.63 (overtime after 47.5hrs 18.71) Saturday 18.71 Sunday and Bank Holidays 24.95
Nights pay rates:
Monday - Friday 19.00 (overtime after 47.5hrs 21.38) Saturday 21.38 Sunday and Bank Holidays 28.50
30-minute break deducted per shift only!
What we are looking for:
In date DIGI and CPC card Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual. Willing to work weekends. Motivated and open to learn new skills. Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.
Your role:
Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules. Prepping vehicles for delivery. Completing vehicles checks. Refuelling vehicles. The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
