Job Title

: Delivery Driver (Class 1)

Salary:

15 per hour plus weekly bonus

Hours:

39 basic hours plus paid overtime (nights out will be required)

Job Purpose

: The role of the delivery driver is to work in our fast-paced and time-sensitive environment, to load, deliver and collect goods daily to customers on time, in a safe manner and in a satisfactory condition. Deliveries will be predominately to the builder's depots and occasionally to the customer's address.

Responsibilities:

Completion of all vehicle checks before the vehicle is driven using the online App Load security (strapping of loads) Complete prompt and correct deliveries with the use of the delivery app (obtaining signatures) Maintain good customer relations by being always courteous and helpful Offer delivery of goods in the ground floor room of choice Ensure customer receives excellent customer service Keep vehicle clean and tidy

Skills and Experience Required:

Full EU Driving License for 3 + Years with no disqualifications in the last 5 years More than two years experience in a similar role required No more than 3 Points on Driving License

Personal Attributes:

Physically fit as the doors are solid Customer-focused with strong communication skills Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and listening skills
