Raskelf Group, a leading UK manufacturer of luxury sleep products, is expanding and looking for experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our growing team. Based at our headquarters in Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire, you will be instrumental in ensuring our award-winning products, including Duvalay sleeping bags and a wide range of mattresses for home, leisure, and contract markets, reach our valued customers and partners.

We encompass well-known brands such as Duvalay, Summerby Sleep, Nursery Connections (UK's largest cot mattress manufacturer), and Raskelf Contract Beds. With a recent multi-million-pound investment in our Heckmondwike facility, we are significantly increasing our manufacturing output and looking for reliable drivers to support our continued growth.

The Role:

As a Class 1 HGV Driver for Raskelf Group, you will be responsible for:

Safe and efficient transportation of goods to various locations across the UK. Adhering to all road safety regulations, driving hours, and working time directives. Conducting thorough vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly. Always maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service. Potentially involving some nights out (paid). Flexible approach to start and finish times to meet business needs.

We are looking for individuals who possess:

Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driving Licence. Up-to-date CPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card. A minimum of 1 year of demonstrable Class 1 HGV driving experience in the UK. No more than 6 points on your licence (minor endorsements only). A strong understanding of driver's hours regulations. Excellent communication and customer service skills. A flexible and positive attitude to work. Reliability and punctuality.
