Due to constant time wasters we again have two new trucks available to start work as soon as possible.

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate diverse routes. Experience with Curtain, Fridges and container is preferred, as well as a background in commercial driving.

Duties

Operate HGV vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring that all items are transported safely. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Follow all company policies regarding safety protocols and procedures.

Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, particularly with flatbed lorries. Valid commercial driving licence with the appropriate endorsements. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws. Excellent navigation skills with the ability to read maps and use GPS systems effectively. Good physical fitness to handle loading and unloading tasks. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
