Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with fridge vehicles, and a strong commitment to safety and punctuality. This role involves transporting goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

4 on 4 off Operate fridge lorries safely and efficiently for the transportation of goods. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules while considering traffic and weather conditions. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of loads to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage driven. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies at all times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.

Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Valid commercial driving licence (C+E or equivalent) is essential. Experience with flatbed lorries is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in transportation. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently. Pay: 16.60-19.10 per hour
