Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle various types of cargo, including general haulage, flatbed loads and tautliners.

Duties

Operate a lorry in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo, securing it properly for transport, particularly for flatbed deliveries. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure optimal performance. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines while on the road and at delivery sites.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence (CDL). Up to date CPC Hours on Driver Qualification Card. ADR Certificate would be a bonus. Experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred. Familiarity with flatbed operations is advantageous. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. Physical capability to handle loading/unloading tasks as required.

Pay: 40,000.00-50,000.00 per year
