HGV Class 1 Driver - Leicester | Multidrop & General Haulage | Family-Run Business

Location: East Goscote, Leicester LE7 3XA

Are you an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver looking for a fresh opportunity with a trusted and established family-run business? Join Pauline Edwards Transport Ltd, a well-respected haulier and warehousing specialist operating out of East Goscote, Leicester.

Since 1992, we've been providing flexible and reliable transport solutions across the UK. As the local Palletways depot, we offer a mix of local multidrop and general haulage work, all supported by our own modern fleet and in-house warehousing team.

What You'll Be Doing:

Operating primarily Class 1 (C+E) vehicles, with occasional use of smaller vehicles

Local multidrop deliveries within the Leicester area (Palletways network)

General haulage across the UK when required

Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently

Completing delivery paperwork, mileage, and fuel records accurately

Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any issues promptly

Communicating with dispatch and clients to ensure smooth operations

What We're Looking For:

A valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence

CPC and Digi Tacho card

A flexible, can-do attitude and a willingness to get stuck in

Strong understanding of UK road laws and driving regulations

A helpful and professional approach with customers and team members

Counterbalance forklift licence (preferred, not essential)
