Responsibilities

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, securing it properly for safe transport. Maintain accurate records of deliveries. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies during transportation. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns.

Requirements

Valid UK driving licence with appropriate endorsements for commercial driving. Proven experience as a delivery driver. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in transportation. Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. A positive attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
