Job Description

We are looking for a driver to join our team at our Leighton Buzzard depot. We make deliveries throughout the country, but especially in the local area including London, to various locations including small units and large RDCs.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently to complete the job, solving problems in conjunction with the office team as required. An appreciation of doing a good job, safely and effectively, will fit in well with our group.

Start times:

0500-0800

Finish times:

1400-1900

Holiday:

28 days inc. bank holidays

Shift pattern:

Mon-Fri

You will do an average of 2 nights out per week (paid as additional)

Requirements:

2+ years experience Valid driver CPC card Valid C+E Class 1 license with no more than 6 penalty points
Responsibilities:

Carry out daily defect checks using our driver app Complete accurate PODs on paper and on ePOD devices as required Ensure all loads are safely secured for transport, using internal or rachet straps as needed Ensure the correct freight is loaded/unloaded from your vehicle at each location communicate effectively and professionally with all sites you visit, and with the office throughout the day, in person or on the phone as required. Keep the vehicle clean and tidy Follow all company policies including H&S and conduct standards

Pay: 41,600.00-48,000.00 per year
