A great opportunity has arisen to work for Axle Haulage as

Class 1 Artic Flat driver

.

We are an Employee ownership trust (EOT) and have been operating since 1988.

We are currently looking for a driver to operate from our

Hockliffe depot LU7 9PY

Working Monday to Friday (early starts) with weekend/nights overtime available.

We deliver throughout the UK(including London), HS2/Tideway Site Compliant would be advantageous.

Nights out are required.

MUST have experience of securing loads onto flatbed vehicles, using straps, rachets, chains.

You will be given your own dedicated vehicle.

Responsibilities

Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles, ensuring compliance with all road safety regulations. Transport goods using flatbed trucks, securing loads properly for safe delivery. Complete delivery routes efficiently while maintaining accurate logs of mileage and fuel usage. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns.

Pay: 16.71-29.25 per hour
