Limited HGV Class 1 Driver - Newton Aycliffe

We are currently looking for Self-Employed/Limited HGV Class 1 Drivers to work various shift patterns (any 5 out of 7 or at least 1 day at the weekend) with AM and PM starts available. Additional days will be available.

You will join our team based in Newton Aycliffe and will receive a competitive shift rate of 195-205 per day (must be LTD registered or use our own Payment Solutions company as an LLP). Additional bonus payments are available for overtime and additional store deliveries after your planned route. All routes are average 12 hours but flexibility is required to work over if required.

Four days fully paid training is provided.

About the role

:

You will be completing all driving tasks and duties associated with the delivery of chilled, frozen, and fresh goods to stores. You will be self-loading and tipping, must be comfortable with using electric pump trucks for loading purposes, have a minimum of 2 years HGV driving experience ideally conducting store deliveries or multi drop routes.

What we are looking for in our HGV Class 1 Driver:

Must be LTD Registered or use our own Payment Solutions company as an LLP Must hold full UK Driving Licence with Cat C+E, Driver CPC and Digi Card Minimum 2 years HGV driving experience, ideally making store deliveries Be available to work any 5 out of 7 days in the week (at least 1 day at the weekend, preferably both) This is a customer facing role so a reliable, self-motivated and professional work ethic is a must NO DR/DD/IN and no more than 6 points
