Igloo Thermo Logistics is a national temperature-controlled distribution company operating across three depots in the UK. We have depots in Leeds, Luton and Taunton and are currently celebrating our 20th Anniversary.

Due to a period of exceptional growth, we are recruiting an additional Class1 Artic driver to join our expanding team in Luton.

What you will be doing

Safely operate the artic to transport goods to various locations. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload items, performing heavy lifting as necessary. Maintain communication with Transport staff and customers regarding delivery status. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Keep accurate records of deliveries and maintain a clean driving log. Drops between 5-10 drops per day varying from multi drop and some trunking work. Route and delivery paperwork completion on PDAs

What we are looking for

Minimum of 2 years' experience on a Class 1 license -

We will accept up to 6 points on your license, but no DD, DG, TT, DR, CD, IN, CU endorsements -

Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency. Strong knowledge of UK road networks and road safety laws.

What we offer

Sunday to Thursday shift-5 Day week Guaranteed 40 hrs per work. Typically working between 40-50 hours per week Shift times & working hours-start times vary between 07:30 to 13:00 Bank holidays worked paid at time and half. 28 Days annual leave (inclusive of Bank holidays). Igloo Living scheme after 6 months giving discounts with a range of companies. Starting wage 19.20 per hour Full Time Permanent Position.
Successful applicants will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of the recruitment process.
