About the Role

DriveStaff is recruiting

experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers

to support a variety of transport and logistics clients across the North West. We offer flexible assignments, competitive PAYE rates, and consistent work for reliable drivers.

Assignments include trunking, RDC work, depot-to-depot deliveries, and general haulage, depending on client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and in line with all road traffic legislation Complete deliveries and collections efficiently and professionally Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects Ensure loads are secured correctly and transported safely Complete all relevant paperwork and timesheets accurately Represent DriveStaff and our clients to a high professional standard

Requirements

Minimum age: 21 years old

Minimum 2 years Class 1 (C+E) driving experience

Valid

Class 1 (C+E) licence

Valid

Driver CPC

Valid

Digital Tachograph Card

No more than

6 penalty points

(no DR, DD or IN endorsements) Good knowledge of drivers' hours and working time regulations Reliable, professional attitude and good communication skills
