Hgv Class 1 Driver.
Job Description
Westbury Packaging are seeking a Full time HGV Class 1 driver.
Salary: 32,760 per year plus 1350.00 in accident bonus (paid twice yearly).
Reporting to the Transport Manager duties will include;
Delivery of pallets of corrugated cases to our customers across the South West of the UK. This ranges from 1 to 8 drops per day.
Collecting materials from suppliers as required.
To keep vehicle in good order, reporting any defects for repair / corrective action.
Securing of loads.
This position is Monday to Friday, with no requirement for overnights.
Reporting for duty at either 05:45 or 06:45 depending on length of run.
Pay is salary with an average of 40 hours per week. We also offer a drivers bonus scheme paid twice per year. Due to the nature of our business and our customer base we are not in a position to offer overtime.
We would carry out a minimum of two weeks training before you would be expected to carry out your duties by yourself. You would drive a 17 plate Mercedes Actros.
Qualifications and Skills
Class 1 license CE, Drivers CPC & Digital Tachograph card.
