What will I do as a HGV Class 1 Driver working for Optima Logistics?
We are looking for a reliable driver based in our Middlewich depot who will be flexible, a good communicator and is able to work Monday to Friday. The position will involve delivering to our customers across the UK where needed there will be some nights out required, there is an additional night out payment, paid weekly. We are looking for a driver who has the can do attitude the rest of our team have.
When will you be working?
As a HGV Class 1 Driver you will be required to work in conjunction with the Transport team to cover the deliveries as required by the company.
What hours will I work?
Monday - Friday, 4pm start
What skills & qualifications will I need?
Deliver goods to our customers and meet their requirements to the best of your ability.
Maintaining our POD process for all deliveries
Ensure manifests are adhered to
Complete daily walk-round vehicle safety checks completing information electronically
Report defects to the transport team
Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle
Follow all Health & Safety procedures as directed and complete annual training.
Demonstrate knowledge of the WTD, EU road transport legislation and tachograph information.
Drivers must hold a full HGV driving licence C+E Class One, an up to date digital tachograph card and full drivers CPC with a preferred clean licence.
What will I get paid?
173.25 per day, plus any expenses paid weekly.
