Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and excellent driving skills, particularly in commercial driving and flatbed operations.

Responsibilities

Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policy. Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery status, road conditions, and any issues that may arise during transport. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle at all times.

Requirements

At least 2 years experience driving HGV 1 Maximum of 3 points on driving licence. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Have own transport to commute to work.
