About the Role

Barnes Logistics Ltd are an equal opportunity employer with multiple depots across the UK. With a fleet of over 90 vehicles and 120+ employees, we are one of the UK's leading providers of logistical support and warehousing. Due to continued expansion and growth, we have one opportunity for an LGV/HGV Class 1 Driver at our Coventry depot. The role is a long-term and secure contract for a major customer.

HGV Driver Benefits

Monday to Friday shift pattern

114.56 shift rate (equivalent of 14.32 per hour)

21.48 hourly overtime rate (after 40 hours, Monday-Friday)

28.64 hourly overtime rate (Sundays)

28 days paid holiday entitlement

HGV Driver Requirements

Valid HGV Class 1 licence (CE)

Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)

Valid Digital Tachograph

HGV Driver Responsibilities

Use of route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver trailers to fulfilment centres.

Interacting with colleagues and customers in a helpful and professional manner.

Complete daily maintenance checks on vehicles and trailers.

Maintain electronic logs to track routes and deliveries

Occasional trunking
