Job Overview

We are seeking 2 reliable and skilled Class C&E Multi Drop Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service, ensuring that deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition.

Duties

Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of loads to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that may occur during transport. Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery status and any potential delays. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while driving and handling cargo.

Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Valid commercial driving licence with appropriate endorsements for flatbed operation. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial driving. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Good communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy items and long hours on the road.
