HGV C+E (Class 1) Drivers required urgently for Tramping (Walking floor work)

Millison Chase Limited is looking for experienced HGV C+E drivers to work with our client,

Our client is a larger family-owned haulage company and pallet network operator looking fulltime HGV Class 1 drivers to join their expanding team.

Due to new project on a large-scale contract win nationally This is a temporary to permanent job, over 12 weeks with Millison chase before being transferred to our client.

This is a tramping role, and prefer you have walking floor experience.

This is a temporary to permanent role for a HGV C +E (Class 1) Driver at Millison Chase Limited located in our client's depot in Newport,

As a HGV C+E (Class 1) Driver you will be responsible for daily deliveries / collections, ensuring the safe transportation of goods and maintaining accurate records of delivery schedules. Shifts can be long but are in keeping with in law and legislation. The job its self will consist of delivering various loads on a walking floor or curtain sided trailer, business to business on varied routes, Hand ball will not be required.

Qualifications

Valid UK HGV C+E (Class 1) license

(Walking floor experience preferred)

Experience with daily deliveries and transportation of goods Strong knowledge of road safety regulations Excellent communication and time management skills UK CPC card UK digi Card No more than 6 penalty points and only SP codes allowed 1 year driving experience for insurance Purposes Nights out Required

Pay

Days Mon to fri 15.50 per hour Nights Mon to Fri 16.50 per hour Weekends 18.00 per hour Night out allowance 25 per night out

This is a temporary to permanent job for the rite candidate, with 5 positions available
