We are actively looking for

HGV Class 1

night drivers for our reputable logistics client.

Night work, shift times 18:00-06:00

Monday to Friday work pattern, ongoing temp work

Curtain-sider palletised deliveries

Responsibilities

Operate a class 1 articulated lorry to transport goods to various locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition. Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery times and fuel efficiency. Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring that all items are transported safely. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage. Comply with all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.

Requirements

Obtain an HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence Minimum 1 years UK experience on HGV Class 1 No more than 3 points or endorsements (We do not accept TT99, DR10, IN10). Valid and in date CPC and Digital Tachograph card Able to work nights and follow a rota
