Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various locations. This role requires excellent communication skills, while adhering to all road regulations.

Duties

Safely operate vehicles for the delivery of goods. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items. Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of mileage, fuel use, and other relevant information. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving is essential, with a valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type. Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and clients. Experience as a delivery driver or van driver is beneficial.
