Elddis Transport is a well-established and well-respected haulage company based in the North East. We require Class 1 drivers for our Newton Aycliffe based nightshift operations, working Monday to Friday:

Basic hours: 17.09 (Basic rate 15.27 plus 2.17 night rate) Weekend rate: 19.27 Paid 4-weekly

Responsibilities

Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently during shifts. Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while adhering to traffic regulations. Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance. Manage loads securely, ensuring proper strapping as needed. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation. Communicate effectively with traffic office and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.
Previous experience prefered.
