Hgv Class 1 Driver Nights
Job Description
Pawson Transport are a family run business based near Rotherham. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit part time HGV class 1 night drivers working Monday to Friday.
The ideal candidate will hold a C + E (Class 1) HGV Licence.
Knowledge of drivers' hours and Work Time Directive
Knowledge of tachograph compliance
At least 12 months experience
Experience of working within a high volume customer service environment
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
Role Purpose
The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of goods nationwide to customer sites in a timely and professional manner, whilst keeping within relevant legislation for drivers' hours and Working Time Directive (WTD).
Key Accountabilities
Ensure vehicle is loaded safely and correctly
Ensure vehicle is in a roadworthy condition and kept clean
Delivery of loads on time and in full
Maintain Working Time Directive (WTD) records
Ability to work on own
Complete any necessary paperwork as required
