Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team on nights. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle flatbed deliveries.

Duties

Operate a lorry in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of goods. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure safety and functionality. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to safety and transportation.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence (C+E) with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills for interaction with clients and team members. Must be physically fit to handle loading/unloading tasks as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 17.50-18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
