Class 1 Driver

Hours: Monday- Friday - Permanent

Salary: To be negotiated

Location: South Norfolk (based)

Banham Vehicle Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to support our Clients increase in workload. We are looking for an experienced HGV Driver to work either part or full time. We predominantly transport chilled and frozen goods.

We are looking for professional, experienced, knowledgeable, and well-presented drivers who can commit to and meet the high standards set by our clients, representing their company when collecting from and delivering into their customers depots.

Salary: Based on experience and up for negotiation.

Requirements

Class 1 Drivers licence with full CPC and digital tacho card 6 points maximum for minor offences Experience in driving Class 1 vehicles essential

Responsibilities

Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and functionality. Deliver goods to designated locations, maintaining accurate delivery records. Manage loading and unloading of cargo, particularly flatbed loads if and when required. Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise. Maintain a valid Category CE driving license and adhere to company policies and procedures.
