JOB DESCRIPTION:-

Trailers to be delivered on a swap basis, fan assisted through pipework, or lightweight bags off-loaded by hand at customers premises. Drive and regularly clean a company owned tractor unit to locations throughout England, Scotland and Wales. Deliveries are normally 1, maximum 2 per day dependant upon location and hours, with the occasional multi-drop. All vehicles are fitted with tachographs and should be driven within the legal requirements, this may however require extra hours at work to accommodate the necessary break periods. Nights out are sometimes required.

Other duties include loading and unloading of lorries, vans etc. completion of daily vehicle checks and reporting of any defects accordingly, ensuring loads are safely secure and delivered in a timely and professional manner with POD's signed for.

REQUIREMENTS:-

No special skills are required for unloading as full training will be given, but preferences will be given to anyone who has a good knowledge of the road networks of England,Scotland and Wales.

Full UK Driving License - Category C+E

Digital Tachograph Card

Driver Qualification Card - CPC

At least 1 year Class 1 UK driving experience

WORKWEAR:-

The Company provides lightweight t-shirts and trousers to keep up the companies' corporate image plus appropriate PPE as required.

HOURS OF WORK:-

Minimum of 8 hours per day exclusive of meal breaks - 5 days a week Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays. Start time must be flexible as early morning starts are normally required. Successful candidate must be flexible and be prepared to help out in the factory when deliveries are only local.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 2,600.00 per month
