Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively. Experience with flatbed lorries is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Transport goods to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining the integrity of the cargo. Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times while on the road or at delivery sites.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence (C+E) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with flatbed lorries. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for safe driving. Excellent time management skills with the ability to adhere to tight schedules. Good physical fitness as the role may involve manual handling tasks such as loading and unloading cargo. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
