Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting Chilled goods from a distribution centre.

The job role is working nights starting at 18.00 leaving from Penrith travelling to Spalding then back to Penrith.

No tramping and home everyday.

We have 1 position available

Working Sunday to Thursday

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and drive trucks to transport goods to designated locations.
- Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while on the road
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and proper functioning
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries,
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 1 C + E license held for at least 2 years with no more than 6 penalty points on your driving record.

- Valid Tachograph Card & CPC
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver or similar role.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
